A Lot About Play Writing

One time I wrote a play. It’s the only time I’ve ever written anything like that. I didn’t tell anyone; I felt shy and embarrassed and wasn’t sure what type of reaction I’d get. I didn’t tell anybody and didn’t send it anywhere. But then I thought, why not, and I sent it out. I got rejected but the editor was supportive. I thought I’d enter in a perform contest a local theater business was having. Folks voted for the perform they were supporting, and every week the perform with the least votes got cut American-Idol style. It wasn’t a one-week thing though. It dragged out week after week. It was so stressful! It was like being in March Madness, waiting to see who was cut that week and who would go on towards the next round. If you were pleased by this you would also be inspired by learning about Writing A Radio Play.
