Why Companies Need Mobility As A Service Network Platform

Mobility as a service is a network platform that has replaced LAN based network. This network is employed on a cloud based technology in which employees are connected to central network through laptops and handled devices.

Today the business has come out of LAN based IT paradigm where employees have to be present in the office environment to connect to central database and share network resources. Today, the competition is tough and for survival, employees have to be connected to the central server throughout the day to get latest data and information.

Mobility as a service network is beneficial for both the management and employees. The employees can connect to the network from home or on the go. By connecting to central server, they get all the access of data and network applications. The employees can download, upload, share videos, transfer files, and print reports.

Mobility as a service is also equally beneficial for the management. The management can check and control all operations. Mostly the employees get the tasks when they log on to the mobile service and they submit daily reports to the managers.

On a cloud based network, both server and connecting devices need to be live on the internet. Internet is a public network where anyone can intrude to your network if he knows your IP address. For this reason, the mobility as a service platform needs security and central control system.

So how this security can be implemented? For this, a company needs to employ mobile workforce solutions. These solutions are needed to secure the network. A web based platform is provided at central location where IT department monitors the activity of the connected users. The function of IT department is to impose endpoint security applications like security patches, personal firewalls, anti virus and anti spyware software, interruption defense and zero day warning security.
