Dish Network vs Direct TV in technical support is different when it comes to fixing problems for their customers. I have experience with both. When I have problems with getting reception with Direct TV, they just told me to do the things that I had already tried myself with the receiver and box, such as reprogramming it. As for Dish Network, the technical support person was able to fix my receiver when I had there services. I had the same problem with reception and they were able to help me. When you’re paying for anything, it’s best to pay for services where you are able to get help when needed.
