I had become a single girl living on her own afraid of the phone call.  I had allowed myself to rack up plenty of bills that I could not pay for.  The phone was constantly bill collectors calling to collect on a debt that I owed, but of course I could not pay.  I finally discussed my California judgment collection with someone who helped me find my way out.  Now after working hard to get over this, I am working at living with in my means so this wont happen again.  Collections is a department I don’t want to deal with in the future.
