Here is a quote from Honda on July 20th, 2010: “A new plug-in hybrid system for mid-size to larger vehicles is currently under development. Vehicles equipped with this new system are scheduled to go on sale in 2012 in Japan and the U.S.” IS this good or bad news. I think it is awesome. in know people who follow Honda Vs Toyota and what each is doing is going to be disappointed in Honda. They Want it in the US market in 2012, not just in Japan. Remember folks, this is just a projection. That is a conservative statement. This when Honda thinks the market and infra structure will be ready. If it is sooner, expect it sooner.
