Banksy canvas art and paintings are held in a high repute, attributed to a practice extensively used in street art known as graffiti writing with another practice by and large linked with Blek le Rat (an artiste and musician with the group Crass) well-known as stenciling, many though deem his reluctance to reveal himself is why there is such a commotion. As it stands nobody knows not only what he looks like but even his actual name is not known. He remains anonymous although he is a celebrated artist of graffiti art, street art, pop art or urban art (whichever name that is most relevant).
